Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our friendly and experienced team, who will transfer you to your luxurious lodge in Arusha. After settling in, you will have some time to relax and explore the lodge's amenities, which include a swimming pool, spa, and gourmet restaurant.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park After breakfast, you will board a light aircraft for a scenic flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon landing, you will be met by your expert guide, who will take you on a game drive through the vast plains of the park, home to millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. You will then head to your luxury tented camp, located in a prime spot for wildlife viewing.
Day 3-6: Serengeti National Park Over the next four days, you will have ample time to explore the Serengeti's diverse ecosystems, from grassy plains to wooded savannahs and riverine forests. Your experienced guide will take you on game drives in search of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and many other species. You will also have the option to take a hot-air balloon ride over the park, for a bird's eye view of the stunning landscape and its inhabitants.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast, you will depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic crater, which is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino. You will then check in to your luxurious lodge, perched on the rim of the crater, and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha On your final day, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, where you will have the chance to see some of the world's last remaining black rhinos, as well as lions, elephants, and hippos. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha, where you can catch your flight back home or continue your travels in Tanzania.
